Fuse Coaching &
Non-Profit Organizations

“You’re working to create real impact in your community, but when your team is stretched or misaligned, progress slows and the pressure builds on leadership.”

You’re doing work that matters.
But when your team is stretched, decisions slow down, alignment slips, and too much responsibility sits on a few shoulders.

In many nonprofit organizations, the challenge isn’t a lack of commitment or clarity of purpose, it’s how the team works together day to day. Meetings don’t move things forward. Important conversations get avoided. Progress depends on a few people carrying more than they should.

Over time, that starts to show up everywhere: in stalled initiatives, team frustration, and leadership burnout.

It doesn’t have to work this way.

At Fuse Coaching, we work with nonprofit leadership teams and cooperatives to strengthen how they function together, so decisions are clearer, ownership is shared, and the work actually moves forward.

This isn’t about adding more to your plate.
It’s about helping your team work in a way that makes everything else easier.

If you’re noticing the strain in how your team is operating, it’s worth a conversation.

How it works

  1. Initial conversation – understand your team and what’s really getting in the way

  2. Focused engagement – team coaching sessions tied to real work (not theory)

  3. Practical shifts – new ways of meeting, deciding, and working together

  4. Sustained change – habits that stick beyond the sessions

All of our coaches have completed programs accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and are seasoned professionals who bring a wide range of knowledge, skills, and perspectives to our cooperative. They come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, reflecting the communities we serve across Metro Vancouver and beyond. We believe diversity strengthens the quality of our coaching, allowing us to connect more meaningfully with the nonprofits and charities we support.

We’re committed to making coaching accessible to all nonprofits, regardless of size or budget. That’s why we offer a sliding scale for coaching services and often provide pro bono coaching where possible. We’ve created a flexible structure so that financial limitations never prevent your organization from accessing the leadership and team development support you deserve.

Coaching for Nonprofit Leaders

Leading a nonprofit can feel isolating.

You’re holding the mission, supporting your team, managing stakeholders, and making decisions that don’t always have clear answers. And often, there isn’t a real space to step back and think it through.

Over time, that can show up as second-guessing decisions, carrying too much responsibility, or avoiding conversations you know matter.

You don’t have to navigate that alone.

We work one on one with Executive Directors and senior leaders to create a focused space to think clearly, make stronger decisions, and lead with more confidence.

This isn’t about generic leadership advice.
It’s about working through the real situations you’re facing, so you can:

  • Make decisions with greater clarity and less second guessing

  • Navigate difficult conversations directly and productively

  • Step out of constant firefighting and into more intentional leadership

  • Share leadership more effectively with your team

As your leadership shifts, your team feels it.

And that’s often where broader change begins.

If you’re feeling the weight of leadership right now, it’s worth a conversation.

How It Works

We keep the process focused, practical, and grounded in the real work your team or leadership group is navigating.

1. Start with a conversation
We begin with a 30 minute call to understand what’s happening in your team or leadership role, what’s working, what’s not, and where things feel stuck.

2. Get clear on where to focus
Together, we identify the patterns that are slowing things down, whether that’s decision making, communication, or shared ownership, and define what meaningful progress would look like.

3. Work on what matters, in real time
Coaching sessions are built around your actual work. We focus on the conversations, decisions, and dynamics that are already in front of you, so the impact is immediate and relevant.

4. Build habits that stick
This isn’t a one time intervention. We help you and your team shift how you operate day to day, so improvements continue well beyond the sessions.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting.
If something isn’t working as well as it could, that’s enough to begin.

Matt, COO Healthcare Non Profit

“FUSE was an amazing resource in unlocking our team’s potential to work together. Right from the start Kels and Rob engaged us in meaningful conversation in order to tap into the essence of what we wanted to achieve. The work brought our team closer together and provided a common language in which we could continue conversations with.”

Blaine, President Non Profit

“Our charity and board were dealing with challenges around leadership and communications.  The FUSE sessions were thoughtfully designed to encourage participation and identify what was really important to all of us.  We came out of the experience with a roadmap that has already improved communications and will help us move forward. Thank you FUSE!”
